Asjad Saeed

Asjad Saeed Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan, is running an independent law firm “Asjad Saeed and Associates” wherein Arshad Malik Awan, A.S.C, is also a partner, and is a working Partner at “AMA Law Associates”.

With over two decades of diverse legal experience before the High Courts and the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Asjad Saeed has built a distinguished career in areas including constitutional law, land acquisition, civil and commercial disputes, tax and banking law, intellectual property, company law, and international trade. He has successfully represented individuals, corporations, and government bodies in complex and high-profile cases, earning a number of reported judgments to his credit.

As a former Additional Advocate General Punjab (2018–2019), he defended the Government in critical constitutional and administrative matters, including challenges to major infrastructure projects like the Orange Line Metro, appointments to top provincial positions, and large-scale recruitment issues. Earlier, at Tufail & Saeed, he represented parliamentarians in electoral disputes and litigation relating to fake degree cases, and appeared on behalf of key regulatory bodies such as OGRA, SECP, and FBR in high-stakes policy, tax, and corporate enforcement matters.

Currently a Partner at “Asjad Saeed & Associates”, he continues to lead on strategic litigation including arbitration disputes, defamation, fraud, and commercial contract enforcement across domestic and international forums. He has advised major public limited companies on multi-jurisdictional contracts, and has acted for stakeholders in industries ranging from steel and mining to pharmaceuticals and healthcare.

A CEDR-accredited mediator from the UK, he possesses deep expertise in alternative dispute resolution, and has guided several businesses and trade organizations in resolving commercial and shareholder disputes amicably. He has also appeared in criminal prosecutions of nationwide significance, defending trustees and private entities in proceedings initiated by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

His clients have included regulatory authorities, multinational companies, public service bodies, and high-profile professionals. Notably, he represented OGRA, SECP, PTA, and major financial institutions in precedent-setting litigation involving regulatory frameworks and market competition.

He is also actively involved in professional legal development, having held leadership roles such as Co-Chair of the IPO Committee at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and is a certified mediator under a program organized by IFC and CEDR London.
